Motiv8 Welcomes Chapstick as Kuush Departs

The Challenger League squad announce their roster change bringing in veteran player Chapstick.

Motiv8 Gaming, who were recently relegated from Pro League by Noble, are now trying to shake up the roster with another change.  This swap follows many others in the recent history of the team, including one which brought Kuush onto the squad when they were known as HAT.  Now, however, Kuush will be departing to open a spot for Chapstick.

Motiv8 has not seen much success recently, following a dissapointing performance in the aforementioned Pro League Relegations as well as their average performance at DreamHack Austin, where they were knocked out in the Group Stage by Evil Geniuses.  In the CCS North American League, they currently sit on the bottom half of the standings.

Now, Motiv8 try to shake up the team with the addition of Chapstick.  Chapstick has played in Pro League on teams such as Ominous, Elevate, FlipSid3 Tactics, and Counter Logic Gaming.  He has also been a part of this squad when they were previously known as Ronin.

With this experience, Chapstick may help Motiv8 in the upcoming season of Challenger League, where they will seek to regain their Pro League status.  During Pro League Season 7, Chap primarily played Thermite and Hibana, a role held by Cookiez in the later end of the season for HAT/Motiv8.  Motiv8 will continue to compete in CCS and Season 8 of Challenger League, which will begin following the Paris Major!

Their roster for upcoming competitions is as follows:

 Marcus "Talon" Lynn

 Benjamin "Yellow" Trang

 Eric "Billboard" Gorski

 CJ "Cookiez"

 Kevin "Chapstick" Do
