After five rounds Rogue seems well in control despite the crowd having a clear bias to the reigning German champions. The scoreline is 4-1.

It's 1-1 in head to heads on Bank, time for a decider

This is the third time these two teams have played on Bank this year. G2 won their first meeting, 7-5, but then lost during this stage, 1-7.  Statistically their Stage 2 meeting was the organization's second worst loss in Rainbow Six.

Despite the counter bans Cryn has 5 kills in 2 rounds

We tried to use a new strategy … but it was not working”: Elevate heartbreak vs w7m in Berlin Major quarter-final

The final APAC team has fallen.

XSET bans Finka & Azami, Wolves ban Nokk & Valkyrie

Zero bans in common with map one as XSET bans the main attacker of Mowwwgli and main defender of BiBooAF

XSET's pick, Chalet, next

Wolves have already played this map twice this tournament as against w7m esports they lost 3-7, and then won 8-7. Prior to this they lost to Team Secret here, 3-7.

XSET beat Parabellum here but lost to TSM. They also were knocked out of the Gamers Without Borders qualifiers, 3-7, by the Gaimin Gladiators B team on Chalet. A rather weak result considering that this is their map pick.

Game 1 stats:

On Club House XSET achieved the following SiegeGG Ratings:

  • SpiriTz -- 1.21
  • DiasLucasBr -- 1.16
  • Yoggah -- 0.95
  • GMZ -- 0.93
  • Kyno -- 0.76

While Wolves hit the following figures:

  • Shiinka -- 1.18
  • P4 -- 1.12
  • Mowwwgli -- 0.91
  • Risze -- 0.87
  • BiBooAF -- 0.80

The sheer number of flawless or almost flawless rounds helped inflate some of Wolves' statistics as P4 and SpiriTz hit 12 kills while Shiinka hit 11 and DiasLucasBr hit nine.

XSET wins map one, 7-5

XSET has won three rounds in a row to avoid overtime and take Wolves Esports' map pick away from them.

XSET on map point

In an almost flawless fashion, XSET has won a CCTV defense to go up, 6-5.

DiasLucasBr ends the half, 3-3, with another clutch

XSET has edged Wolves to a tied half as DiasLucasBr killed BiBooAF in a 1v1 scenario. This is XSET's second clutch in two rounds as, despite the scoreline, no XSET players has more kills than deaths while P4 has seven kills to three deaths.

2-2 tie after SpiriTz Blitz clutch

A flawless round by Wolves flowed by flawless round by XSET set us up what is certain to be a mixed match.

Wolves only lost a single life in round three while round four ended in a 1v2 clutch from SpiriTz using Blitz.

Wolves have banned Maverick and Mira, XSET takes out Hibana and Kaid

Maverick and Hibana both going has been somewhat softened by Kaid's removal. Now Wolves' Mute is the lone gadget to stop XSET's Ace.

Wolves vs XSET to go to Club House, Chalet & Oregon

Wolves' pick, Club House, will start first

Game 1 stats:

Despite a strong performance, Onigiri's Elevate couldn't quite do enough against w7m:

w7m enjoying their first event infront of a crowd

XSET stands in the way of a EU vs LATAM final

The last time we saw a EU vs LATAM grand-final was a year ago in Mexico where Alem4o played for LATAM.  Prior to that was G2 vs FaZe at the Season 8 Finals, a matchup that's still very possible in Berlin.

It took overtime, but w7m esports wins map 3, 8-6.

GdNN1 clutches what is effectively a 1v2 for series point

Elevate force overtime

W7m hits series point

An unsuccessful stock attack from Elevate means that w7m is now just one round away from a semi-final appearance.

Jv92 wins 1v3 after Team Killing

2-2 tie after DCH clutch

After three very one sided rounds -- one by w7m, then Elevate, then w7m -- DCH won a 1v1 clutch against Volpz to tie the scoreline.

W7m bans Montagne and Valkyrie while Elevate takes out Finka and Wamai on Border

Elevate has banned Finka for the third time while w7m has target banned Scatman's Montagne.

  • Onigiri -- 1.36
  • DCH -- 1.10
  • Markshortboyz -- 0.99
  • MrPuncH -- 0.89
  • Sapper -- 0.68

And the same for w7m:

  • HerdssZ -- 1.24
  • Jv92 -- 1.06
  • Kheyze -- 1.00
  • Volpz -- 0.91
  • GdNN1 -- 0.89

After an outstanding group stage performance -- he had the best defensive rating in the tournament by far -- Volpz is currently lagging behind most of his teammates.

The top fragger currently is Onigiri with 23 kills to 14 deaths while Elevate has won most opening engagements -- 13 to nine.

Map 2 stats:

With Bank over, here are Elevate's statistics for the map:

  • Onigiri -- 1.54
  • DCH -- 1.16
  • Markshortboyz -- 0.88
  • MrPuncH -- 0.76
  • Sapper -- 0.68

And the same for w7m:

  • Jv92 -- 1.24
  • HerdssZ -- 1.22
  • Volpz -- 1.02
  • Kheyze -- 0.87
  • GdNN1 -- 0.66

With 15 kills to seven deaths Onigiri was the maps most valuable player after he's finally awoken following a weak group stage.

Elevate wins map two vs w7m, 7-5

After a 3-3 offensive half, Elevate has won w7m's map pick to take the series to a decider!

Elevate reach match point in much closer map

In a neck and neck map, Elevate has regained the lead against w7m to, at the very least, ensure overtime on map two.

Elevate ends their attacks with a promising 3-3 split

Despite w7m's prior defensive dominance, Elevate has tied them here on w7m's own pick. This comes After w7m recovered from a 1-3 deficit.

w7m stop a runaway Elevate as Jv92 wins a 1v1

Onigiri starts map two with a triple kill

Map 1 Ratings:

The ratings on Kafe were as follows on w7m:

  • Kheyze -- 1.16
  • GdNN1 - 1.13
  • Herdssz -- 1.05
  • Volpz - 0.97
  • Jv92 - 0.90

And on Elevate:

  • Onigiri - 1.13
  • Markshortboyz - 0.99
  • MrPuncH - 0.99
  • DCH - 0.93
  • Sapper - 0.77

The kill counts were really tight as Onigiri and Kheyze top fragged on just eight kills while the lowest frags came from Sapper on five.

W7m bans Azami, Thatcher, while Elevate takes out Finka and Valkyrie

Elevate bans Finka once again on their map pick as they start on attack.

W7m wins map one, 7-3, against Elevate

Elevate's map pick has fallen to their Brazilian opponents as a 1v3 from Herdsz ended Elevate's comeback hopes.

W7m on map point after a strong few rounds from Elevate

An almost flawless round seven and a fully flawless round eight adds on to Elevate's flawless end to their defensive half.

All three rounds saw volpz make minimal impact despite him earning 43 kills to 18 deaths on the defense in the groups, a remarkable figure.

Finally, w7m went onto map point, 6-3, in a round that also saw no impact in the round.

Elevate down 1-5 at the half

A flawless round four for w7m was responded to with a flawless by Elevate on round six as the Thai roster got their first round win infront of a crowd.

A 1v1 clutch by GdNN1 over Mark on round five was the difference from a much closer half result.

After 3 rounds, w7m leads 3-0

14 kills to eight doesn't paint a dire picture but the strong attacks are unlikely to end. A worrying thought considering this is Elevate's map pick.

Elevate need a win on this half

W7m have a 74.3% defensive win rate, so unless Elevate take an early lead, it's unlikely the Thai squad can make a comeback. W7m also hasn't won an offensive half since last month, even during maps they won on so the Brazilians taking an early lead could be disastrous.

Elevate bans Finka and Warden, W7m takes out Twitch and Valkyrie

The Twitch ban in particular is a target ban on DCH has he has excelled on entry.

The first game will go to Kafe, Bank, and Border

W7m is flawless on Kafe, neither team likes Bank, and both teams have a positive record on Border.

The opening quarter-final will include the lone APAC survivor.
