According to a release from Ubisoft, the European League officially has a return date: June 20.

Monday, June 20 is the official return date for the league. This stage will feature two "super weeks". The league will run from June 20 until Aug. 1. The official dates for each playday of the stage are:

Playday 1: Monday, June 20th

Playday 2: Monday, June 27th

Playday 3: Monday, July 4th

Playday 4: Monday, July 11th

Playday 5: Thursday, July 14th

Playday 6: Monday, July 18th

Playday 7: Thursday, July 21th

Playday 8: Monday, July 25th

Playday 9: Monday, August 1st

The official schedule for the teams for the stage is still unknown.

The European League features some of the world's most prestigious teams. G2 Esports, Rogue, BDS, Team Empire (PWNZ), Virtus.Pro (Outsiders), Wolves, MNM Gaming, Natus Vincere, Team Secret, and Heroic are all vying for the crown of Europe's best -- and a berth in the upcoming EU/MENA August Major.

The top four of the league at the end of the stage will go to the Major. Previously, Heroic, BDS, Wolves, and G2 were the representatives in the Charlotte Major. EUL teams underperformed at the Major, but there are caveats: it was G2 and Heroic's first LAN as a team, Wolves were breathing a sigh of relief after acquiring an organization, and BDS made a solid run.
