A 5-7 loss to w7m esports means that Gaimin Gladiators are effectively eliminated from the Berlin Major. With just two points total so far and just one game remaining, they cannot catch up to Wolves, who have seven points.

GG previously took Wolves to overtime twice (7-8, 6-8), but lost to w7m Esports (4-7) and Oxygen Esports (4-7), leaving them with just two points.

Considering the team made their APAC League debut only in March this year, qualifying for this event alone has been an impressive result even if their fairytale run has ended here.

Group C is now a straight fight between Wolves on seven points and Oxygen on three for the final playoff spot in the group. Oxygen need to beat Gaimin in their next game to keep their hopes alive, while it's likely that the spot is decided in the Wolves vs Oxygen game at the end of the day.
