Julio leaves FURIA Esports

The Six Invitational champion only joined FURIA in June.

Just three months after joining FURIA Esports as a coach, Julio "Julio" Giacomelli has left the organization.

Julio spent the majority of his competitive career on the Ninjas in Pyjamas lineup, with whom he attended 11 global events and was crowned a 2021 Six Invitational champion, and finished runners-up during the Six Sweden Major, the 2020 Six Invitational, and the ESL Pro League Season 3 Finals.

In May, he was then replaced on NiP by Gustavo "Wizard" Gomes and joined FURIA in a coaching role. With his new team, he finished second in Stage 2's BR6 League ahead of NiP in fourth and was knocked out of the Berlin Major in the quarter-finals against FaZe Clan.

Julio has now left FURIA with a move back to a player position on w7m esports now expected following the exit of their in-game leader, Gleidson "GdNN1" Nunes.
