Spear Gaming part ways with CrazyBoy

The player announced the move via Twitter.

Spear Gaming have parted ways with Choi "CrazyBoy" Min-ho approximately two weeks after the end of Stage 3 of the APAC North Division and the Korean Open 2022 Autumn.

The Korean team finished in last place in APAC North in Stage 3 with a mere three points, having only been able to secure 18 points across all three stages this year.

They enjoyed a somewhat more successful Korean Open 2022 season, however, finishing in the top four in the Autumn split and second place in the Summer and Spring splits.

CrazyBoy struggled heavily in APAC North in Stage 3, finishing dead-last in the leaderboards with a SiegeGG Rating of 0.56. He only managed a -33 K-D and had a -16 Entry split and was even outperformed by Hwang "NL" Gyo-min, who signed with Spear as a coach and has ostensibly been a stand-in for the inactive Cha "iLeven" Won-il.

Spear Gaming will now be looking for a new player ahead of the SI 2023 open qualifier sometime in December or January, while CrazyBoy will be looking for a new team.
