Today, Ubisoft released more information about the new Rainbow Six Siege regional competitions. The announcement also included information about the teams that will participate and how to qualify for the Six Majors.
Now, Rainbow Six Siege's esports scene will include nine regions. Also, North America has moved from ten teams to eight. Keep on reading to find out when the leagues begin!

Map Pool
BLAST's first Map Pool for Rainbow Six Siege competitions will remain unchanged from the one we had last season.
While some people expected the arrival of Nighthaven Labs, BLAST decided to not make changes. This means the map pool will consist of nine maps.
Looking at the Six Invitational 2023, Clubhouse and Border were the most popular maps, with 26 and 23 appearances respectively. Bank, with 19, Kafe and Theme Park, with 18, Chalet and Oregon, with 17, Skyscraper, with 15, and Villa, with 10, follow.
Regions and Format
Under BLAST, Rainbow Six Siege will be divided into nine regions. Each region will follow a different format, so keeping track of it will be quite complicated -- especially for the new fans.
Europe
Europe's brand-new top-flight will include ten teams. Compared to the 2022 season, WYLDE is the only new name on the list as Usain Bolt's esports organization has filled the spot left by Natus Vincere.

Europe League Format
The ten teams in Europe will be divided into two groups of five rosters which will follow a round-robin format with BO1 maps.
Teams will get three points for a regulation victory, two for an overtime victory, one for an overtime loss, and zero for a regulation loss.
The best three teams of each group will move to the EU League Deciders. The EU League Deciders will have BO3 matches. These will decide the seeding of the six teams that will compete for the region's four spots to compete at the Six Major.
The best team of each group will advance to the EU League Deciders semi-finals. The second-best team of Group A will face the third-best of Group B, while the second-best of Group B will face the third-best of Group A. Winners will qualify for the Major Phase 2.
Simultaneously, the losers of the EU League Deciders quarter-finals will play for seeding at the Major EU LCQ.
At the same time, the losers of the semi-finals will play for the first spot of the Major Phase 1. The loser will go to the Major EU LCQ.
Six Invitational 2024 Points Distribution
In Europe, the Six Invitational 2023 Points Distribution will be as follows:
- 1st: 150 pts
- 2nd: 130 pts
- 3rd: 115 pts
Fourth to tenth-placed teams won't get SI Points.
Prize Pool
Here's the Prize Pool for Europe:
- 1st: €40,000
- 2nd: €30,000

North America
Following TSM and Astralis' departures from the scene, the region will have eight teams instead of ten. Here's how the list of rosters looks now:

North America League Format
North America's format will be slightly different.
North America won't have two groups as teams will all start from the same standings. The league will follow a round-robin format with BO1 matches.
Teams will get three points for a regulation victory, two for an overtime victory, one for an overtime loss, and zero for a regulation loss.
The best six teams will advance to the NA League Deciders, where games will follow a BO3 format. Meanwhile, the seventh and eighth-placed teams will drop to the NA Open Phase 3.
At the NA League Deciders, the best two rosters from the initial standings will make it to the semi-finals, while the other four will start from the quarter-finals. The best two rosters of the NA League Deciders will qualify for the Major Phase 2.
The losers of the NA League Deciders quarter-finals will play for seeding at the Major NA LCQ. Meanwhile, the losers of the NA League Deciders semi-finals will play for the region's first spot of the Major Phase 1. The loser will drop to the Major NA LCQ.
Six Invitational 2024 Points Distribution
In North America, the Six Invitational 2024 Points will be distributed just like in Europe.
- 1st: 150 pts
- 2nd: 130 pts
- 3rd: 115 pts
Teams from fourth to eighth won't get any Six Invitational 2024 points.

Brazil
Heading to the first stage of the season, Brazill will have one orgless roster. However, the team has been allowed to compete. Here's the list heading to Stage 1.

Brazil League Format
Brazil League's format will be exactly the same as Europe's.
Teams will be divided into two groups of five teams. Teams will compete in a round-robin format. The best three of each group will advance to the Brazil League Deciders.
Teams will get three points for a regulation victory, two for an overtime victory, one for an overtime loss, and zero for a regulation loss.
While the best roster of each group will advance to the semi-finals, the other four teams will meet in the quarter-finals. The second-best team of Group A will face the third-best of Group B, while the second-best of Group B will face the third-best of Group A.
The teams that reach the Brazil League Deciders will qualify for the Major Phase 2.
The teams that lose in the quarter-finals will face off in a clash that will decide their seeding at the Major Brazil LCQ. Meanwhile, the losers of the semi-finals will play for the first spot in the region at the Major Phase 1. The loser of the game will be dropped to the Major Brazil LCQ.
Six Invitational 2024 Points Distribution
Just like Europe and North America, Brazilian teams will only get Six Invitational points by finishing among the best three teams in the region. Points will be distributed as follows:
- 1st: 150 pts
- 2nd: 130 pts
- 3rd: 115 pts

The prize pool for the Brazil League looks as follows:

Japan's top-flight will be formed by the following eight teams:

Japan League Format
In Japan, teams will be divided into two groups of four teams. Teams will face in BO1 matches following a round-robin format. Three points will be awarded for regulation victories, two for overtime victories, one for overtime losses, and zero for regulation losses.
The best three rosters of each group will advance to the Japan League Deciders. The bottom team of each group will be moved to the Japan Open in the Qualifiers Playoffs.
All of the matches of the Japan League Deciders will be BO3 except for the grand final, which will be BO5.
The best team of each group will advance to the semi-finals of the Japan League Deciders. The winner will advance to the Phase 2 of the Major, while the loser will advance to the Phase 1.
The second-best of Group A will meet the third-best of Group B, while the third-best of Group B will meet the second-best of Group A.
The winner of the first round of the lower bracket, the winner of the second round of the lower bracket, and the loser of the second round of the lower bracket will be moved to the Major Japan LCQ. The loser of the first round of the lower bracket will be moved to the Japan Open in the Qualifiers Playoffs.
Six Invitational 2024 Points Distribution
Only the first and second-placed teams in Japan get SI Points. While the first will get 150 SI Points, the second will get 130.
Prize Pool
Ubisoft's official announcement didn't include information about the Japan League's prize pool.
South Korea
Just like Japan, South Korea will also have eight teams:

LATAM League
Ubisoft's announcement didn't include information about the teams competing in the LATAM League, which will include participation from LATAM South and Mexico.
Asia League
As of now, only six teams have been confirmed for the Asia League. However, the league will be extended to nine teams, as three will come out from the qualifiers. This is how it looks now:

Oceania League
Just like the Asia League, not all of the teams have been announced as of yet. Here's how the team's list looks as of now:

MENA League
The MENA League is finally a reality! However, we don't know any of the teams that will compete in the tournament. All of the eight participating teams will come out from a qualifier.
