Rainbow Six Siege launches Year of the Tiger skin

Rainbow Six Siege launched a new skin, which has been widely welcomed by players.

Rainbow Six Siege has released a special bundle to commemorate the Chinese New Year, which will be the Year of the Tiger. This special bundle is named after the yearly festivity.

What does the R6 Siege Year of the Tiger bundle include?

The Year of the Tiger bundle includes a universal weapon skin and a weapon charm. Universal weapon skins can be attached to any gun in the game, so you don't have to worry about that!

This weapon skin has been welcomed with open arms. It is quite unusual to see shiny skins like these nowadays in Siege, which reminded some people of those Blood Orchid universal weapon skins that dropped alongside Lesion, Ying, and Ela.

The skin has some great details. A gold tiger is surrounded by a red flare, which many users have combined with the red attachment skin.

The universal skin isn't the only thing in the bundle though, as the "King of the Beasts" charm also joins the party. This small tiger also symbolizes the festivity.

This bundle can be purchased by spending 50,000 Renown or 1,200 R6 Credits.

Can I purchase items in the Year of the Tiger bundle separately?

Yes! If you just want to purchase the skin, here's how to do it:

  • Head to Shop.
  • Scroll down and go to Weapon Skins.
  • Click on Universal Skins.

There you will see the Year of the Tiger skin, which costs 40,000 Renown and 960 R6 Credits.

Is this the only Chinese New Year skin in Siege?

No. Rainbow Six Siege has made different Chinese New Year skins in the past, with last year's also being welcomed.

There have also been other skins, including the Year of the Rat, the Year of the Dog, and the Loyalty skin.

However, all of these items have been in the store for a limited period of time. This means that these can no longer be found in the in-game store. So, if you want to get your hands on Ubisoft's brand new skin, wait no more and get it now!
