Here are all the relevant details about this upcoming season so you can prepare accordingly for its launch.

Release date

Just as previously expected, Season 7 of Battlefield 2042 is slated to be released on Tuesday, March 19.

A new update will be released on that day at 0:00 UTC to add all the new content to the game. However, if the format from previous times remains the same, the season itself will start at 8:00 UTC.

Trailer

Here is the official trailer for the season where you can take a look at the new map and several new cosmetics:

New Map

As you can see, the new map coming to the game is called Haven and it takes place in a little town inside the desert of Atacama called "El Alicanto", located in Chile.

The South American map is not the only one being added this season, as Stadium is also making a comeback. The fan-favorite map has been revamped, featuring some new areas and POIs.

New Weapons, vehicles, and cosmetics

The SCZ-3 SMG, AK 5C, and DFR Strife are the three new maps coming to the game this season, which were featured in several parts of the gameplay trailer.

On top of that, a new remote-controlled aerial bomber called XFAD-4 Draugr will be added during a future season update. This one makes an appearance at the end of the trailer and will have stealth capabilities.

If you are wondering what cosmetics will be available through the new Battle Pass, the following image also showcased in the trailer gives us a good look at most of them, both from the Free and Premium tiers:
