Heroic have become the second European roster to be eliminated from the Six Invitational 2023 following consecutive losses to North American teams.
Today's loss against Spacestation Gaming followed a loss yesterday to Oxygen Esports in the first match of the playoffs. It's not been a great tournament for them when facing NAL squads, as all of their encounters against them have ended in losses -- M80 and DarkZero Esports in the group stage, and Oxygen Esports and Spacestation Gaming in the playoffs.
Heroic came to the Six Invitational 2023 with the hard task of remaking their roster following the departure of Benjamin "Benjamaster" Dereli. The exit of the Danish player meant the return of Jake "Sloth" Brown and the signing of Adam "nudl" Hryceniak.
Later today, Spacestation Gaming will play against their regional opponents M80 in the second round of the lower bracket.
