Soniqs have become the first team BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen Phase 1 team to qualify for the tournament's Phase 2 following the North Americans' victory over REVEN ECLUB.

Soniqs had previously secured a spot at the Group C upper bracket final after defeating the South Korean lineup of LAVEGA Esports by 7-2 on Clubhouse. Ben "CTZN" McMillan was the best player for Soniqs in their debut game in the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen with a SiegeGG rating of 1.61.

In the meantime, REVEN ECLUB defeated the Japan League roster of NORTHEPTION to secure a spot at the group's upper bracket final.

The North Americans secured a four-round lead after winning five of their six defenses on Theme Park, arguably a defender-sided map. Despite REVEN ECLUB's aggressive playstyle, Soniqs adapted to their opponents and quickly closed the map with a 7-4 win.

Richie "Rexen" Coronado and Shaun "Gunnar" Pottorff were Soniqs' best players, as they both finished with a SiegeGG rating of 1.48.

With this result, Soniqs have become the third North America League roster to reach the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen Phase 2, alongside M80 and DarkZero Esports. Later today, Spacestation Gaming will join the list if the team defeats Six Karma.
