Berlin Major quarter-final matchups revealed

We're getting closer to this weekend's playoffs!

Oxygen beat Wolves, 8-7

LaXInG has won his final game on Oxygen as Wolves Esports took Wolves to overtime on Oregon. This result meant that Oxygen won the one required point to overtake Gaimin Gladiators and finish third in Group C while Wolves will continue on Friday in the quarter-finals.

G2 beat FaZe Clan, 7-0, get top seed

G2 Esports has dominated FaZe Clan to claim the top spot in Group B with 13 points compared to FaZe's 12.

This result on Oregon saw Doki end with 12 kills to one death while no FaZe member had more than three kills.

G2 will face FaZe on Oregon in the final meaningful game of the groups

G2 Esports will need all three points against FaZe to overtake them in the standings. Otherwise, all four top-seeded rosters will be Brazilian.

w7m esports breaks the record for the most points in a group stage

Previously no team had earnt more than 15 points during the six group stage games at a Six Major event. FaZe Clan and w7m both went into their final game on 15 but FaZe fell to Soniqs, and w7m lost in overtime to Wolves. This means w7m broke the prior record but failed to earn a perfect 18 out of 18.

Wolves beat w7m, 8-7

Wolves have secured the second seed in their group and ended w7m's perfect record. This means the Berlin Major playoffs will have three LATAM, three EU, one NA, and one APAC team.

Wolves qualify for Berlin Major playoffs, eliminate Oxygen

Wolves become the final team to make the top-eight.

Soniqs beats FaZe Clan, 7-5

FaZe's perfect event has come to an end as Supr toppled the Brazilian giants in his final game in competitive R6S.

This game also gives G2 a chance to overtake FaZe into first should the Europeans win their head-to-head next.

FaZe vs Soniqs being played on Bank

Supr's final professional game began on Bank against FaZe Clan. FaZe needs to win this game to guarantee the top seed and they've previously already beaten G2 on Bank yesterday.

XSET beat Ninjas in Pyjamas, 7-5

In a game which made no difference to seeding, XSET has won their final game of the day against third-placed NiP. With this, Brazilian teams have topped all four groups.

FURIA beat Astralis, 7-3

FURIA has overtaken Elevate into first place in Group D while Astralis has finished in last place.

FURIA confirm top seed in Group D

After securing at least one point in their dead-rubber against Astralis, FURIA have locked in top seed for the playoffs from Group D.

We're off to Bank for NiP vs XSET and Oregon for Astralis vs FURIA

XSET are locked into first place, while NiP are locked into third, but the two teams will play this dead-rubber match on Bank.

Astralis also do not have anything to play for, but FURIA can still take top seed out of their group.

MNM beat Astralis, 7-4

MNM Gaming has finished Group D in third place with a win over fourth-placed Astralis.

Rogue qualify for Berlin Major playoffs, eliminate NiP

Rogue joins G2 as the second European team in the final eight.

LATAM ready to reach new heights

Should NiP beat Rogue, this will be the first time all four LATAM teams have made it to the playoffs of a Six Major. With XSET also qualified, this would make five of the top eight teams all have Brazilian core rosters, while G2 also has a Brazilian player.

Previously North America in Charlotte and Europe in both Paris and Raleigh managed to get four teams into the final eight.

Astralis vs MNM Gaming happening on Skyscraper

While both teams are already out of running for a playoff spot, this match will be crucial for third place in the group. This is worth an extra $5,000 and 55 Six Invitational Points.

NiP vs Rogue head-to-head on Villa

To lock in a playoff spot, Rogue need all three points against Ninjas in Pyjamas. The Brazilians, however, will qualify with even just an overtime win.

If NiP gets one point here, then they will need to follow things up with a three-point win over XSET.

APAC's group stage is now over

All four Asia Pacific teams have finished their two games for the day. This means SBXG, DWG, and Gaimin have finished their tournament, while Elevate will represent the region on Friday in the quarter-finals.

G2 Esports beat SANDBOX Gaming, 8-6

In SANDBOX's final game of the day, they have narrowly lost to G2 Esports.

G2 themselves have now locked in a quarter-final appearance and will hope to take the group's top seed later today against FaZe Clan.

Gamin Gladiators beat Oxygen Esports, 8-7

Gaimin has earnt their first global win as a team in their final game of the Six Berlin Major. This result was not enough to escape last place in their group as they're on three points.

Oxygen, meanwhile is now on four points compared to Wolves in second on seven. Wolves have yet to play both w7m and Oxygen meaning for Oxygen to qualify for the playoffs, Wolves can't get any points in these games.

SANDBOX vs G2 going to Theme Park

SANDBOX needs to win all three points against G2 Esports and hope that G2 gets zero against FaZe in order to qualify for the quarter-final.

Gaimin vs Oxygen goes to Club House

While GG are already out of playoff contention, Oxygen needs at least one point in this game to keep their own hopes alive. The last time these two teams played, Oxygen won 7-4, however, OxG did lose this map against both w7m and Wolves during day one.

SANDBOX beat Soniqs, 8-6

This result on Club House has pushed Group B back to being close between SBXG and G2 Esports. These two teams will play next, which SANDBOX will also need to win and hope G2 lose against FaZe to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Gaimin Gladiators eliminated from Berlin Major playoffs contention

Gaimin becomes the fifth team to exit in the groups.

The game on Chalet is a must-win for the Indonesian roster as they must beat the flawless w7m roster to keep within touching distance of Oxygen and Wolves in Group C.

Soniqs playing for G2 in the next game?

The next match on Stream A will be SANDBOX vs Soniqs, played on Clubhouse.

If Soniqs wins this game then G2 Esports automatically qualifies for the quarter-finals without needing to play today. If SBXG wins the game then the spot will be determined in the following match; SANDBOX vs G2.

XSET qualify for Berlin Major playoffs with win against DWG KIA

XSET becomes the first NA team to do so.

FURIA qualify for Berlin Major playoffs, send Astralis & MNM home

The Group D teams are now decided.

DWG vs XSET taking place on Oregon

This will be DWG's last game of the tournament, however, it is technically possible for them still to overtake NiP to third place in their group.

A win by XSET would qualify them for the quarter-finals for the second event in a row.

Elevate has already beat Astralis on this map while MNM took Astralis to overtime here. Rogue notably hasn't played on Border all year.
