Soniqs unveiled the return of Pablo "Gryxr" Rebeil to the starting roster as Emilio "Geometrics" Léynez has been benched. The announcement comes one week after Soniqs finished in eighth place of the North America League 2024 Stage 1, which saw the Six Invitational 2024 Top 6 missing out on the playoffs.
While neither the organization nor Geometrics has released a statement regarding the Mexican's future ahead of the second split, the Six Invitational 2022 champions admitted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that he is "still looking forward to competing" and that he will have an "update after the major regarding what's next."
Soniqs' upcoming match will be in the Last Chance Qualifiers as the players will attempt to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester. Although we still don't know who will be their opponents, Wildcard Gaming, Mkers, Los Mangos, and Spacestation Gaming Academy have also qualified for the tournament.
