BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 3 Bracket Revealed

The final phase of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will kick off on Friday.

Following the conclusion of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 2, Ubisoft unveiled the bracket for the playoffs stage.

Surprisingly enough, five of the best eight teams in Atlanta started the tournament from Phase 1, including G2 Esports, LOS, Geekay Esports, DarkZero Esports, and Spacestation Gaming.

Here are all of the teams that will participate in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 3:

  FaZe Clan (3-0)

The Brazil League champions topped the Phase 2 standings with three wins and zero defeats. Despite having the same record as G2 Esports, the Brazilians were placed above due to having a better Buchholz Points difference.

To qualify for Phase 3, the Brazilians defeated DarkZero Esports (8-6), Ninjas in Pyjamas (7-3), and Bleed Esports (7-4). They will face Spacestation Gaming in the quarterfinals.

  G2 Esports (3-0)

The Six Invitational 2023 champions are still undefeated in Atlanta after defeating FURY and DarkZero Esports in Phase 1, and DPlus, SCARZ, and Geekay Esports in Phase 2.

Heading to the quarterfinals of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, Karl "Alem4o" Zarth is the highest-rated player in the competition with a SiegeGG rating of 1.40. If that wasn't enough, the Brazilian also has the second-best KOST and the second-best K-D in the competition.

w7m esports (3-1)

Following a surprising 4-7 defeat against Geekay Esports, the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen champions have run over their opponents including Spacestation Gaming, Virtus.pro, and Team BDS.

Curiously enough, the Brazilians will play against the Saudi Arabian-majority roster in the quarterfinals, who defeated Wolves Esports in their fifth match in Phase 2.

DarkZero Esports (3-1)

Since DarkZero Esports' debut in Phase 1, the North American lineup has already played nine maps — and five of them went to overtime.

While the purple squad has had problems when it comes to closing matches, the roster has shown great potential. Following the team's defeat against FaZe Clan on Day 1 of Phase 2, the North Americans beat Soniqs, M80, and Bleed Esports to reach the quarterfinals.

LOS (3-1)

LOS' run to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 3 included victories against SCARZ, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Bleed Esports, and a defeat against DPlus.

The Brazilians will be DarkZero Esports' opponents in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta quarterfinals, as both teams will meet for the first time since they faced off in the Six Charlotte Major.

Their match against the purple squad will be the team's most important game of the season, as only a victory can qualify them for the Six Invitational 2024.

Geekay Esports (3-2)

Against all of the odds, Geekay Esports qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 3 after defeating the last two Six Major champions, w7m esports and Team BDS, and Wolves Esports.

The Saudi Arabian-majority not only made history by becoming the first MENA roster to sneak into a Six Major Top 8 but also qualified for the Six Invitational 2024, where they will represent their region alongside Team Falcons.

Team BDS (3-2)

Team BDS' winning start in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta was followed by two defeats against Geekay Esports and w7m esports that put the Frenchmen between a rock and a hard place. Eventually, though, the Europeans qualified for Phase 3 after beating Soniqs and Virtus.pro.

Just like LOS, a Team BDS victory in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 3 quarterfinals will automatically qualify the French for the Six Invitational 2024. However, their qualification will come earlier if the Brazilians lose against DarkZero Esports first.

Spacestation Gaming (3-2)

Last but not least, Spacestation Gaming qualified for Phase 3 after winning the final match of Day 7. After a losing start against Team BDS and w7m esports, the North Americans qualified for the quarterfinals after defeating SCARZ, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Bleed Esports.

Spacestation Gamings' upcoming opponent will be FaZe Clan, as they will meet in the final game of the quarterfinals.
