DarkZero Esports have parted ways with Jason "Ryce" Ngo two months and three weeks after officially joining the purple roster.

The Vietnamese player joined the North American roster to compete in ELEMENT ONE as the team's trial. Less than a month later, the organization decided to sign him to compete in the North America League Stage 2.

In his professional debut, Ryce finished the North America League Stage 2 with a SiegeGG rating of 0.95 after mainly using Dokkaebi and Valkyrie. DarkZero Esports' third place in their region was enough as the roster qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.

After a well-deserved victory against Knights, DarkZero Esports lost to G2 Esports and was pushed to maximum overtime on the third map against FURY. After narrowly making it to Phase 2, DarkZero Esports moved to Phase 3 before losing to LOS by 5-7 and 0-7 in the tournament's quarterfinals.

In Atlanta, Ryce averaged a SiegeGG rating of 0.86 after going 7-21 (-14) on entries. However, he helped the purple organization to represent North America at their home Major, as they and Spacestation Gaming were the only teams from the region to reach Atlanta's Phase 3.
