FaZe Clan qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta semifinals after defeating Spacestation Gaming by 2-1.

The Brazilians won against the astronauts by 7-3 on Skyscraper and seemed to be on their way to a flawless victory on Consulate. However, the North Americans came back from a 1-6 after winning seven rounds in a row and forced map three.

On Clubhouse, FaZe Clan decided to not ban Blitz, an operator they had banned from Skyscraper and Consulate. The German operator was crucial for the astronauts during their attacking half, as they were close to forcing a second overtime thanks to him. Unfortunately for them, the Brazilians took the victory as they closed out the map on round twelve.

With this result, North America won't have any team competing in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta quarterfinals, as DarkZero Esports had been previously eliminated by LOS.

Meanwhile, FaZe Clan became the third Brazilian team to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta semifinals, something that also happened at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen where Team Liquid, w7m esports, and FaZe Clan reached the Top 4.

Moreover, despite G2 Esports being the only exception, two members in the European powerhouse are Brazilian, including Karl "Alem4o" Zarth and Matheus "Ramalho" Ramalho.
