With today’s 2-1 victory against Pampas in the Copa Elite Six, FURIA has qualified for yet another international event despite a bit of roster turnover in the offseason.

FURIA snuck into the CES on the final day of BR6 with an 8-7 victory over Ninjas In Pyjamas. They started BR6 very slow, losing three games in the first three playdays. Since then, they only lost once in BR6 play, 4-7 to Team Liquid. FURIA then went on a four-match win streak to close the season and qualify for CES on the final day of competition.

Now, they’ll be representing Brazil at yet another international event. FURIA qualified for the Mexico Major, the Sweden Major, and two Six Invitationals over the past two years. They’re a team that’s been slowly building on years of international experience, but have yet to show up with a deep run.

Will this be the tournament that FURIA finally break through to the playoffs? Well, the Brazilian youth are surging currently – w7m, the team FURIA beat for this spot, are likely to qualify for Charlotte as well. On the other side of the bracket, Team oNe also feature many youngsters.

Either way, you’ll be able to catch FURIA at the Charlotte Major, beginning on May 16.
