After the mid-season patch for Season 20 of Apex Legends was released, leakers have been sharing details about what's coming to the game in future seasons. One of the leaks confirmed that Lifeline will be the next legend to receive a rework.
Osvaldatore, one of the most prominent Apex leakers, revealed not only that the rework is coming with Season 23, but also that the character will receive a prestige skin. This is a special cosmetic that changes its appearance during a match if a player completes certain challenges.

As of now, we don't know how will the character's abilities change after this rework or how will the new prestige skin look. Since these changes are three seasons away from release, we don't expect to hear about it anytime soon.
Lifeline will be the second legend in the game to receive a major rework, with Revenant being the first. The skirmisher legend not only received a new set of abilities in Season 18 but also a facelift with a new base skin.
We are expecting the same treatment to be coming for Lifeline, and it will interesting to see if her healing drone will still be part of her kit or not.
In the meantime, players will soon get a chance to try a new legend called Alter, whose abilities were recently leaked.
