w7m esports
After winning the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen and the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, w7m esports are the favorites to lift the hammer in Brazil.
In Denmark, the team only lost one map, a defeat that came against MNM Gaming in the tournament’s quarter-finals. Meanwhile, in the United States, the roster lost two maps against Geekay Esports and another one to LOS.
Recently, the organization announced that the players will be parting ways with the Bulls after the conclusion of the Six Invitational 2024. Therefore, the roster’s run in Brazil will be a Last Dance.
Team Liquid
It’s been a season full of ups and downs for Team Liquid. Five months after being one match away from winning the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, the team missed out on the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.
Looking at the rest of the teams at the Six Invitational 2024, saying that Team Liquid is one of the most experienced rosters in the competition isn’t an understatement. Led by the duo of André “NESKWGA” Oliveira and Luccas “ Paluh” Molina, the Blue Cavalry hope to win their first Six Invitational in front of their home crowd.
M80
While they produced some big performances in North America, the Brazilian-majority roster couldn’t perform as expected outside of their region. Combining Copenhagen and Atlanta, the team only won two of their six matches.
The team’s best performance of the year came at Gamers8, where they reached the tournament’s Grand Finals. Despite the team’s defeat against Team BDS, the organization grabbed US$400,000.
Despite having the likes of William “Spoit” Löfstedt and David “iconic” Ifidon, we expect all eyes to be on top of Evan “Yoggah” Nelson, who was signed to replace Leonardo “Kyno” Figueiredo.
Virtus.Pro
Regionally, Virtus.Pro has been the best team in Europe after winning both splits of the Europe League 2023. Unfortunately, the roster’s results weren’t that great at international competitions. With records of 2-3 in both Copenhagen and Atlanta, the Russians couldn’t make it past the Phase 2.
After missing out on the Six Invitational 2023, the Russians will try to lift the hammer for the first time in their history. It’s worth remembering that the team was very close to doing so in 2019 and 2022, when they lost to G2 Esports and TSM, respectively, while competing for Team Empire.
Bleed Esports
Having to say that Bleed Esports is the weakest side in the group is everything you need to label Group C as the group of death.
Although the Asian roster missed out on the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen, the team qualified for the Six Invitational 2024 after a few upsets in Atlanta. Despite not making it to the stage, Bleed Esports’ 2-3 record in Phase 2 was enough to qualify for Brazil.
While the team is considered to be the group’s Cinderella, Bleed Esports have already beaten M80 at an international competition. Plain and simple, they have the strength to survive to the group stage.

Team Liquid and w7m esports meet at an international competition for the first time since Copenhagen
Team Liquid and w7m esports will meet at an international competition for the first time since the Bulls defeated the Blue Cavalry by three maps to zero in Copenhagen’s Grand Final match.
Back then, the Brazilians ran over the Six Invitational 2021 grand finalists. The rosters met again in Brazil five months later in the Brazil League, as the red roster took the win.
Heading to the Six Invitational 2024 and due to the team’s recent performances, w7m esports are the favorites to not only win the match but also to take the hammer home.
Overall, it will be the fourth time both sides clash this season, with w7m esports winning five maps and losing none.
It’s also worth noting that it will be Gabriel “volpz” Fernandes’ fourth match against his former teammates, as the Brazilian was part of the Bulls during the Six Invitational 2023.
Gamers8 Déja Vu for M80 and w7m esports
Both M80 and w7m esports met at the Gamers8 2023. Surprisingly, the North America League roster won the match and qualified for the tournament's grand final, where they played against Team BDS.
While M80 have been struggling internationally, the roster is the only squad alongside Team BDS to defeat the Bulls at a BO3 match. Will they be able to repeat it in Brazil?
The third time could be the charm
While this is Virtus.Pro's second time at a Six Invitational, the team's Russian core is well known for its international runs. Under Team Empire, the roster reached multiple international grand finals, including the final match of the Six Invitational 2019 and Six Invitational 2022.
After missing out on the Six Invitational 2023, the Russians are back representing a different skin. While their group is the most challenging one in the competition, the roster is one of the favorites to take the hammer home.
