Team BDS have qualified for the Malta Cyber Series VII after defeating FBC in the Upper Bracket Semifinals. For those unaware, FBC has three Rogue members in Leon "LeonGids" Giddens, Jack "Jigsaw" Gillies, and Tom "Deapek" Pieksma. However, for unknown reasons, they decided to not represent the organization in the Malta Cyber Series VII Last Chance Qualifiers.
The French-majority roster started the series with a 7-3 victory on Oregon, a map that included four clutches. Later on, FBC would send their opponents to the third map after winning on Kafe Dostoyevsky (8-6). Eventually, Team BDS qualified for the Upper Bracket Final after a 7-5 win on Skyscraper.
With this victory, Team BDS became the second team to qualify for the Malta Cyber Series VII after Wolves Esports. Meanwhile, FBC will have another shot at it as they will face the R6 South Breach champions Team Valor later today.
