The Spanish organization moved to the grand final of the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff following victories on Sunset (16-14) and Breeze (13-3) and will play for the league's first spot against the winner of the match between Fnatic and Karmine Corp.
Before today's match, Team Heretics defeated FUT Esports and Karmine Corp to top the standings of the VCT 2024 EMEA Kickoff Group A. Meanwhile, Natus Vincere topped the standings of Group B after winning against BBL Esport and Team Liquid.
Team Heretics' most recent international performance was at the VCT 2023 Lock In São Paulo as the black roster was sent home after a harsh defeat against Evil Geniuses. Since then, the team's Valorant roster has gone through multiple changes as only Ričardas "Boo" Lukaševičius is left from the squad that played in Brazil.
