BLAST has announced the four groups of the Six Invitational 2024, Rainbow Six Siege's most important competition of the season. The 20 teams in the tournament have been split in four groups of five rosters. By the end of the group stage, the fifth-placed roster from each group will be sent home.

As we approach the start of the competition, here's a brief look at the Six Invitational 2024 groups:

Group A

Group A is headlined by G2 Esports, the current world champions. The European roster lifted the sledgehammer in Feb. 2023 and are one of the favorites to win the title in São Paulo, Brazil.

The Berlin-based organization will share the group with DarkZero Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Geekay Esports, and Fear X.

While G2 Esports are the favorites to take the group's first seed, DarkZero Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas can't be ignored. Moreover, Geekay Esport's performances in Atlanta are strong enough reasons to believe in a second Cinderella story from the MENA League side.

It's also worth mentioning the return of Jason "Beaulo" Doty, who will compete for DarkZero Esports.

Group B

FaZe Clan are Group B's main threat as the Brazilians reached the last two BLAST R6 Major semi-finals. Furthermopre, the team reached the Top 6 in two of the last editions of the Six Invitational.

Last year's Top 6 side, Wolves Esports, and Spacestation Gaming could upset the Brazilians in their path to take the group's first seed. DPlus and Team Bliss complete the group.

Group C

There's no doubt this year: Group C is the group of death.

The two-times BLAST R6 Major champions and Six Invitational 2023 finalists w7m esports are the favorites to win the Six Invitational 2024. However, they will share the group with the current Europe League champions, Virtus.pro, and the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen finalists, Team Liquid.

The group is completed by M80 and Bleed Esports. While the North American roster underperformed in last year's BLAST R6 Majors, the team reached the Gamers8 2023's grand final. Meanwhile, the Asian roster's epic run at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta qualified them for the Six Invitational 2024.

Group D

Last but not least, Group D will create some exciting duels that have never taken place in Rainbow Six Siege before.

While Sonis and LOS are the favorites to take Group D's first seed, the current Japan League champions could be a dangerous threat for both rosters. It will also be the return of Team Falcons to the international scene after missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta. FURY completes the group.
