Although the three games played on Friday ended in 2-0 scores, the match between w7m esports and Soniqs was possibly the most one-sided of them all.

The back-to-back Six Major champions w7m esports bullied Soniqs on the server. The match stats are pretty much self-explanatory: the Americans' entry record for the series was 4-15 (-11). In other words, the blue roster had been one man down for most of the match.

Call it crowd buff or the champions' strength, the Bulls didn't play games against Soniqs. The fans on the crowd when wild as they cheered for the red and black roster.

"It helped me, although I was anxious in the first two or three rounds of the match, I could calm myself down," explained Diego "Kheyze" Zanello at an interview with SiegeGG after the match.

The first match of the series was w7m's favorite, Clubhouse, while Soniqs picked Bank. On the German map, the Bulls smashed their opponents with a quick 7-2 victory.

When asked about how a team prepares to play against a roster that includes players with so many different backgrounds and playstyles, the Brazilian was brief. "When you play against a certain player you know just know him, you know his strenghts, his fixations... it's about using those in the match," Kheyze explained.

Eventually, the Brazilians concluded the match with another strong showing (7-3) in a result that could have looked even more one-sided as Pablo "Gryxr" Rebeil and Emilio "Geometrics" Léynez clutched two of those three Soniqs rounds. "When these rounds happen you are just sad," Kheyze admitted.

Soniqs elimination from the Six Invitational 2024 meant that the North America region will have no representatives in today's matches. Meanwhile, w7m esports' victory gives the team a shot at a potential rematch against G2 Esports, as the European powerhouse defeated the Brazilians at the Six Invitational 2023 grand final.
